國科會竹科銅鑼園區國防科技產業赴美招商報告摘 要：國科會紀副主任委員國鐘所率領之竹科銅鑼科學園區國防工業招商團，赴美招商成果豐碩。將吸引美國國防工業國際大廠來台投資；另美國國防部之國外比較測試軍購專案，已篩選擬對台進行比較認證採購之7項高科技產品，可望促進美台國防工業廠商之技術交流與合作。Abstract： A Defense Industry recruiting delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of the National Science Council, Dr. Gou-Chung Chi, completed a very successful trip to Washington D.C. As a result of this trip, renowned flagship defense manufacturers of the US such as Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, and ITT have expressed to further assess establishing plants in Taiwan in order to take advantage of Taiwan’s interest in making military purchases. Besides, the Foreign Comparative Testing（FCT）Office of the US Department of Defense has completed an assessment report on Taiwan’s high-tech military products following an FCT delegation’s visit to Taiwan. The FCT report selected seven products by six manufacturers for comparative testing and pre-purchase certification in accordance with its procedures. In addition, the NSC’s Science Park Administration, the US-Taiwan Business Council, and the Defense Industrial Association plan to establish a framework for US-Taiwan defense industry cooperation, promote technological cooperation between defense firms in the US and Taiwan, and encourage US defense firms to invest at Taiwan’s Hsinchu Science Park.
