為充實技術新知並配合總公司推動EAI建設，特別赴日參加iEXPO2004國際研討會(12/3-5)及TIBCO Asia Pacific Partner Symposium(12/8, 9)會議。前三天主要參加Managerial Reforms in Ubiquitous Age Developed through Integration of IT and Networks、e-Japan Initiative II and e-Government、Spreading The Toyota Way in the World、The Rapidly Growing Chinese Economy and Trends in Its IT Industry、Ubiquitous Network Society to be Realized with FOMA、A Look form the Universe等專題演講；觀摩日本電信業務及相關產業之最新發展趨勢。後兩天則針對TIBCO平台在亞太地區的應用與發展作深入了解，內容包括Closing the Loop on Integration、EAI for BP: Integrated Supply and Trading、Executive Panel: Real-Time Business in the Telecom Industry、The Real-Time Enterprise: Service-Oriented and Event-Driven、Winning Integration Mix: Real-Business Active Monitoring and Business Process Management、TIBCO BusinessWorks Demo and Discussion、PortalBulider Demo and Discussion、EMI Solution Demo and Discussion。
